The main attraction at LAKESUN is our private pristine lake.  The camp itself is contained at one end of the lake so everyone can enjoy a view of  natural wilderness.

From the very beginning our conservation of our unique setting has been a priority.  So much of our world has been altered by human interference, LAKESUN provides an opportunity for you to enjoy undisturbed natural surroundings and the beauty of nature.

Our sunning area, with its view of the lake, close to the  sandy beach and swimming area, provides both daytime sun and shade from tall white pines.

Relax and enjoy reading a good book, or join in  a game of volleyball or petangue.

Children have priority on the sandy beach.  

                                                        This is their favourite place to dig in the sand, build sandcastles, run in and out of the water,  and revel in the joy of splashing and swimming.

Prevailing southerly breezes make for excellent sailing on our lake.

Mornings and evenings are the ideal time for a leisurely paddle round the lake.  This provides an opportunity to observe some of the animals and birds that share our environment.

Gas-powered boat motors have been banned to preserve our peaceful atmosphere and to protect our resident pair of loons.   If you need more than armpower to get around, electric motors are acceptable.
