Lakesun is a TRADITIONAL FAMILY NUDIST (naturist) club.  We maintain a FAMILY atmosphere in our club.

ALL visitors must stop at the office, register, and pay ground fees BEFORE entering Lakesun.  For the safety and security of our guests, we do not allow strangers to wander about the grounds to "have a look".

We assume that adults understand basic decent behaviour,we expect that your conduct while visiting the club will be guided by common sense and consideration of your fellow guests and the grounds. Behaviours that are taboo in general western society are certainly not tolerated at Lakesun.

A few examples of unacceptable behaviours include:

- attention that makes others feel uncomfortable, such as staring, crowding, put-down remarks, etc.

-possession of illegal substances on the grounds

-possession of firearms on the grounds

-excessive drunkenness

- activities that can result in physical harm to yourself or anyone else

- activities that can result in damage to the grounds and facilities

CONSERVATION. Conservation is a #1 priority at Lakesun. We are blessed with a beautiful natural setting, nature is all around. We wish to preserve it for all to enjoy. Do not pick flowers or other plants, do not cut brush, and do not catch and disturb the wildlife.

PARENTS. Please keep your children within your direct supervision AT ALL TIMES.

We are in an outdoor setting, your child's safety and well-being must be your #1 priority. Lakesun provides an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors in a natural setting. It is expected that you make your children understand that we practise conservation, and that no one is to pick the flowers, and that frogs and other small animals are not toys. Please leave toys that are noisy or shoot projectiles at home. There are a myriad of toys available that your children can amuse themselves with during their stay that do not cause disturbances. Water pistols are strictly prohibited.

We have a sandy beach where children are the priority. Many beach toys have been donated to the club and are available to all children. A sunning deck is located at the corner of the beach, this is the ideal place for parents to sun themselves while keeping an eye on children splashing in the shallows.

Pets. NO DOGS or CATS at Lakesun. We like to be able to walk barefooted without worrying about what doggie has left behind, and our chipmunks and birds live among us without fear of being eaten by cats. All other pets must be kept safely at your campsite.

Fishing. Ontario Law states that you must have a license. Yes, the gamewardens have been checking. We have excellent fishing in our lake and wish to keep it that way Please read the policies on fishing (provided in the office) BEFORE pulling out your gear.

Boating. We have 3 rowboats available for visitors and members to borrow. Please make use of the life vests available. We do not allow gas-powered motors or jetskis on our lake. If you need more than armpower to get you around, electric motors are welcome.  *PLEASE NOTE:  Ontario Law now requires a license for electric motors.  ALL boats MUST have the following onboard:  Sound device (loud whistle), life jacket for every passenger, bailer, and length of rope.

Swimming. We have a swimming area with sandy beach, floating raft, and dock. General safety precautions must be taken while swimming. NEVER leave your children on the beach unattended. Be aware that we do not have a lifeguard on duty.

Campfires. We have one central campfire for everyone to enjoy, do not build campfires anywhere else on the grounds. Campfire wood is provided.

Photography. Taking pictures of your own family or of the lake scenery and the surrounding nature is acceptable. Do NOT aim the camera at anyone else. Be aware that cameras in a nudist setting make people uncomfortable, do not bring cameras onto the sunning grounds or where people are gathered.
